Gary Nance Design
Gary Nance offers more than thirty years of residential and commercial design experience. He brings a fresh mix of classic style, emphasizing functional design plans and architectural details. Working closely with clients and contractors, he incorporates the integrity through the design as well as the construction process of each project.
Houzz chose Gary along with 10 other design professionals to fly out to Palo Alto, California to their headquarters to be interviewed on design for their website. Gary was also selected by Midwest Living Magazine to design their 20th anniversary Idea Home. He has been featured on the cover of several Better Homes and Gardens publications and local magazines such as House Trends, Indianapolis Monthly and the Indianapolis Business Journal. In addition, his previous residence which he designed was on the cover of Better Homes and Gardens Planning Issue and their Home Building Idea cover. Gary was also published in Traditional Home Magazine featuring a cottage he designed on Lake Maxinkuckee in Culver, Indiana. His most recent project was designing the 2016 Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home.
Gary Nance Collection
Throughout his years designing custom homes around the country, Gary Nance saw a void in the market for easy-to-obtain, high quality and affordable products designed specifically for larger homes and businesses. The struggle to find the perfect piece has resulted in Gary sketching his design and having the items custom made. Clients, designers, even friends would ask Gary where he found certain hardware or light fixtures and each time he would send a sketch to get it custom made. “I know several designers and homeowners who wait months sometimes even a year plus to get the products they want,” said Nance. Now they can go to the Gary Nance Collection and get high quality, American Made products in 6-8 weeks. “For years, I’ve been making these custom one-off products and there simply isn’t anyone else in the market making these highly sought after light fixtures and hardware that are to scale for larger homes. No one has updated the stair spindles in 30 years!” I want to take the headache away from not only myself, but from interior designers as well.
