13th Annual Indiana Art Fair
Indiana State Museum’s midwinter art show set for February 12 and 13
Looking for ways to find color during the blah winter months? Let Indiana Art Fair at the Indiana State Museum be the solution. The annual event, featuring some of Indiana’s best artisans, will take place February 12 and 13 on all three levels of the museum. Guests to this year’s festival will be able to enjoy the museum experience, while browsing the works of more than 60 artists. The Indiana Design Center is proud to be a sponsor in support of this year’s event!
Galentine’s Art Night, February 12, 6 to 9 p.m. The Indiana State Museum will host a special preview titled Galentine’s Art Night on Friday, Feb. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. This “girl’s night out” will feature an evening of art, food, drink and music. Attendees will be amongst the first people to enjoy artwork by 60 Hoosier artists representing 22 counties. Be sure to stop by the IDC booth that will be at Galentine’s night! Artists will be selling fine, functional and funky art.
Guests will attend a private reception with the artists as well as try their hands at painting their own masterpieces. Spots are limited. Galentine’s Art Night guests will be invited to enter a contest to win art by a Hoosier artist. Tickets are $35 for members and $45 for nonmembers and are available by calling 317.232.1637 or online at GalentinesArtNight.eventbrite.com. The admission ticket to Friday’s event may be redeemed for free admission on Saturday.
Exclusive Member Hours:
Museum members are invited to enjoy an exclusive hour of shopping on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. Regular fair hours on Saturday are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is included in general museum admission.
