Santarossa Grand Opening & IDC Open House
If you have visited the first floor of Indiana Design Center recently you probably witnessed the craftsmanship and detail that’s gone into each feature in the new Santarossa showroom. With the terrazzo floors complete and columns gleaming with iridescent tile, only a few details remain. Showroom completion is just around the corner and Santarossa is thrilled to announce the showroom’s Grand Opening to the public on Saturday, November 12 from 2 pm to 8 pm! The Grand Opening will coincide with an Indiana Design Center Open House from 5 pm to 8 pm featuring special showroom offers, artists and the latest home and holiday products to arrive at the IDC. All are welcome to attend!
As the state’s premier natural stone and hard surfaces provider, Santarossa works with residential and commercial design professionals, builders and homeowners on a variety of hard surfaces applications that range from marble countertops to natural stone mosaics. Santarossa’s work has graced some of the finest homes in Indiana and their commercial projects include IU Health North Hospital and French Lick Casino & Resort.
The history of Santarossa began in Italy where its founder, Domenic M. Santarossa, left his native country for Germany to study terrazzo and mosaic trade. In 1913 and at the age of twenty, D. Santarossa immigrated to the United States to build his business. By 1920, he moved the business to Indianapolis where it has thrived for over eighty-five years as led by generations of Santarossa family members and business partners. Bringing with it generations of industry experience, the new Santarossa showroom includes a mix of exclusive and unique products available in a retail setting, expanding the accessibility of their exceptional products and expertise. Quality product and unsurpassed craftsmanship was Domenic Santarossa’s focus when he opened his doors in 1921 and remains the firm’s mantra over 85 years later.

The Santarossa custom marble and granite division is unequaled in Indiana and offers a variety of marble, granite, quartz and onyx fabricating, refinishing and custom design using state-of-the-art technology like a CNC Abrasive Water Jet, an In-Line Polisher, and a digital templating system. Kitchen design by Barbara Reuter Design.
