The Indiana Design Center is located in Carmel, Indiana, just north of Indianapolis, in one of the nation’s fastest growing, most affluent and well-educated communities. The trade area offers the 6th highest median income, the 13th highest percentage of college graduates and is the 18th fastest growing county in the country.		The Indiana Design Center sits at the corner of Range Line Road and 1st Street S.W., in Carmel’s new Arts & Design District. A feature of Mayor Jim Brainard’s vision and master plan for the re-development of Old Town Carmel, the Indiana Design Center is complemented by the new, world-class, 1,600-seat Concert Hall and 500-seat Community Theatre, plus a 15-acre mixed-use development called Carmel City Center, with independent retail shops and restaurants, upscale residential, a boutique hotel and premier office space all currently under construction.
