April Willy has been illustrating and creating art professionally for over 25 years.

She has illustrated extensively for advertising agencies, corporate art departments and the publishing industry. April has illustrated eight children’s books of which three have sold over 20,000 copies each. Why Is Mommy Sleeping was awarded a 2008 Moonbeam Children’s Gold Medal and her book Three Cups received the 2009 Grandkids Gift Guide Super Product Award.

April has shown her fine art in galleries in Atlanta, Chicago, Flagstaff and Santa Fe and at several venues and galleries throughout Indiana. She has received many national and state awards for her fine art and illustration. April finds the Indiana Design Center to be an energizing place to work and welcomes the opportunity to collaborate with other design professionals.

April displays a sampling of her paintings in Suite 220 at IDC and also at the new French Bleu Fine Art Gallery on Main Street in Carmel.
